Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Care:

  • Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service from the moment they enter the salon.

  • Offer and prepare refreshments for clients.

  • Prepare clients for services by gowing them up and getting them comfortable.

  • Provide relaxing and thorough shampooing and conditioning treatments.

  • Assist senior stylists with client needs throughout their service.

  • Salon Maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and hygienic work environment at all times.

  • Sweep up hair, clean mirrors, and sanitize workstations and tools.

  • Wash, fold, and restock towels.

  • Manage and restock salon supplies, including products, foils, and colors.

  • Assist with laundry and general cleaning duties to ensure the salon is presentable.

  • Technical Support and Learning:

  • Observe and learn from experienced hairdressers.

  • Assist with the preparation of hair colors, styling products, and treatments.

  • Help with basic hairdressing tasks under supervision, such as blow-drying, applying toners, or sectioning hair.

  • Act as a model for other apprentices or senior staff for training purposes.

  • Participate in all in-house and off-site training sessions as required by the apprenticeship program.
